These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of UAFCalc.site ("the Site", "the Service", "we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using UAFCalc.site in any way, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must stop using the Service immediately.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing UAFCalc.site, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 13 years of age, or accessing the Service under the supervision of a parent or guardian
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
• You will use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
• You understand that UAFCalc.site is an unofficial, independent tool not affiliated with the University of Agriculture Faisalabad

2. Description of Service

UAFCalc.site provides a free online utility that allows users to:

• Fetch academic results for UAF students from the UAF LMS portal using AG numbers
• Calculate Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) based on the fetched results
• Compare course marks across multiple students
• Export results to CSV format
• Print academic result summaries
• Access educational blog content about UAF grading and academic performance

The Service is provided free of charge and is supported by advertising revenue from Google AdSense. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice.

3. Unofficial Nature of the Service

UAFCalc.site is an independent, student-built project. We are not affiliated with, authorised by, sponsored by, or officially connected to the University of Agriculture Faisalabad or any of its departments, faculties, or administrative offices.

The UAF name, academic data, and AG number system referenced on this Site are the intellectual property of the University of Agriculture Faisalabad. We access only publicly accessible data from UAF's LMS portal.

You must always verify critical academic information through UAF's official channels. This includes, but is not limited to: CGPA for graduation requirements, scholarship eligibility, degree classification, and official transcripts.

4. Accuracy of Results

While we strive to provide accurate CGPA calculations and results, we make no warranties or guarantees regarding:

• The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of results fetched from UAF LMS
• The correctness of CGPA calculations in all edge cases
• The availability of UAF LMS data at any given time
• The consistency of data between UAF LMS updates

CGPA calculations depend entirely on data returned by UAF's LMS. If UAF's portal contains incorrect data, our calculations will reflect those inaccuracies. Discrepancies may also arise from differences in how UAF's internal systems handle special cases (incomplete grades, academic appeals, etc.) that may not be reflected in publicly accessible LMS data.

5. Permitted Use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use UAFCalc.site for the following purposes:

• Personal academic tracking: Checking your own CGPA and semester results
• Batch result lookup: Looking up results for your classmates, section, or department for academic planning purposes
• Academic analysis: Comparing course performance across a batch for educational purposes
• Data export: Exporting results to CSV for personal record keeping or departmental analysis
• Educational reference: Reading blog articles about UAF grading and academic performance

6. Prohibited Use

You agree NOT to use UAFCalc.site for any of the following:

• Unlawful purposes: Any use that violates Pakistani law or international law, including privacy laws and computer misuse legislation
• Automated scraping: Using bots, scrapers, crawlers, or automated scripts to extract data at scale beyond the designed bulk input feature
• Privacy invasion: Looking up AG numbers of students without any legitimate academic purpose, or using results to harass, stalk, or harm individuals
• Misrepresentation: Presenting UAFCalc.site results as official UAF transcripts or academic records in any formal context
• Commercial exploitation: Reselling, sublicensing, or commercially exploiting the Service or data obtained from it without our written consent
• System interference: Attempting to bypass, hack, reverse-engineer, or overload UAFCalc.site's infrastructure or UAF's LMS portal through our Service
• Denial of service: Sending excessive requests that could degrade service quality for other users
• False attribution: Claiming affiliation with UAFCalc.site or misrepresenting the source of academic data
• Harmful content: Uploading or transmitting viruses, malware, or any harmful code
• Academic misconduct: Using the Service in any way that facilitates academic dishonesty, plagiarism, or violations of UAF's student code of conduct

Violation of these prohibited use terms may result in immediate termination of your access to UAFCalc.site and, where applicable, legal action.

7. Intellectual Property

The design, layout, code, original written content, blog articles, and brand identity of UAFCalc.site (collectively, "our Content") are the intellectual property of UAFCalc.site and its creators, protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, or distribute our Content without written permission

• Use our brand name, logo, or visual identity without written consent

Academic data fetched from UAF LMS belongs to the University of Agriculture Faisalabad and is governed by their terms of use. Student academic records remain the private property of individual students.

These links are provided for convenience and do not constitute endorsement of the linked site's content, accuracy, or privacy practices. 9. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, UAFCALC.SITE AND ITS OPERATORS PROVIDE THE SERVICE "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
• WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, COMPLETENESS, OR TIMELINESS OF RESULTS
• WARRANTIES THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE
• WARRANTIES THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED
• WARRANTIES REGARDING THE RESULTS OF USING THE SERVICE FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, UAFCALC.SITE AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Incorrect CGPA calculations or display of inaccurate academic results
• Decisions made in reliance on results displayed on UAFCalc.site
• Loss of scholarship opportunity or academic standing based on reliance on our calculations
• Service unavailability during critical academic periods (e.g., scholarship deadlines)
• Data loss, corruption, or security breach

In jurisdictions that do not allow limitation or exclusion of certain damages, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless UAFCalc.site and its operators, contributors, and affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Service in violation of these Terms; (b) your violation of any third party's rights; (c) your violation of any applicable law; or (d) any content you submit through the contact form.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to UAFCalc.site at any time, with or without cause, and without prior notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or are using the Service in a way that could harm UAFCalc.site, other users, or UAF's systems. Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes arising under or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan. If you are accessing the Service from outside Pakistan, you are responsible for compliance with your local laws to the extent they are applicable.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective when we post the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
